Mixed feelings

Today is another precious day in my life, a new member arrived to our family yes we recieved a Baby Girl. Though I am dying to see that cute face my baby , my job demands me to be here in Saudi Arabia. Oh, I should have told you that my family is back in India , they will be back in another three months. I couldn't sleep the whole night after hearing the news around 2 AM in the morning. Tiny white angel like faces are flashing past my eyes. Stayed awake the whole night , thought of having breakfast and went to my favourite Indian restaurant. I grabbed the news paper while munching "Parotta and Egg curry", horribel were the published pictures of GAZA attack (Palestine) really shocked me. A child's body completely burried in rubbles except the head (I am sorry I could not publish that picture here, it is so disturbing) was on front page and describing the atrocities of Israelis . The daily covered in detail how the Israelis attacked a UN refugee camp which sent a chill through my spinal cord. Are we in a civilized society? I really doubt that.
There was also refrence of Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister expressed his concern about UN security council's failure to condemn Israel or put an end to this atrocities , finally he even mentioned that if this is the case then Arab countries have to take the matter on it's own. My personal opinion is that it is high time to take such a decision. The world should realize that highest number of resolutions vetoed in UN in favour of Israel by US, not even considering the pathetic humanitarian situation and massacre carried out by them. How could the so called civilized world turn a blind eye towards this. The UN have proved several time that is a total failure or puppet of Developed countries.
I remember an old friend of mine , who is a lawyer saying it is more offensive when a person induces some one to do a crime than commiting the crime himself. So in this case does US has to be accountable for all these atrocities and massacre. I recently went through a blog of my friend who published an email communication between a Palestinian and a British Israeli after being isnpired by my previous post. Please find some time to visit his blog http://firdousi.com/ where you can find untold stories of Palestine . No media will ever be able to show the world their feelings and sufferings as described there in a couple of emails.
